I studied 4 different RHCE prep books ($35-$60/each) for the 2.1 exam. less than a month before I was scheduled to take the test, they announced the 3.0 test was out and the multiple choice section was gone. Nothing I studied was on the test. However, I had over 5 years as a paid unix/Linux admin and I passed completely on knowledge from experience. I would say that it's impossible to study for the current RHCE exam and that's the way it should be.
