Where we come from, who we are and where are we going..
WARNING! This is NOT belief war topic! This is just place to give opinion about 3 things. If you mention something related to religion or faith then just mention it without further going in discussion war and fighting others. Other topics are for deeper chat about that..so yea since we are having these type discussions lately let's talk calmly about this aswell. So just take deep breath and try thinking about these questions if you are going to reply on this:
1.Where do we come from? Alien, Evolution, God, other theory?
2.Why we exist? To just continue species, to be slaves and work for society or to achive something else or just have fun?
3.Where are we going to and what will happen at the end of human period - will we achive some incredible stuff or be replaced by something else or other theory?
1. Evolution through natural selection. I cannot exclude possible alien influence, but I don't see any credible evidence for it. I also don't think that humans are direct descendants of any living ape. There must have been some aquatic ape or human-like creature, which has yet to be discovered. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aquatic_ape_hypothesis
2. You exist to do what you like, to be happy, and to be free. Or, you can assign any meaning you want to your existence, you can choose to be slave if you enjoy that, as many do. There is no objective meaning, however.
3. Where you are going ? It depends. Are you an Illuminati or Sauron ? If not, you will become a slave to them/him, a race of slaves/orcs, for a very long time. You cannot fight them, you cannot defeat them, maybe you can run for a while, but they will eventually dominate all life.

Evolution seems the likely explanation, to me at least.

I don't think we exist for any reason at all. We're here by pure accident, and any meaning we try to attach to our existence will be purely arbitrary. We're here, thats the end of it.

I think Isaac Asimov had a pretty good idea of where we were going when he wrote The Last Question.
1. I'd say evolution in some form is the most likely explanation.
2. Probably for the same reasons as other living things- to reproduce and keep this show going. Having said that, each individual can find some deeper meaning in their lives.
3. Hard to say, if we don't annihilate ourselves, something else will. Planets come and go. There might already be some meteor heading towards the earth. Who knows?
For #2, I don't think there is any particular reason why animals reproduce. They reproduce only because those that do not die off. They evolved to reproduce because of natural selection.
1) Evolution, which the evidence is beginning to suggest that life isn't so much a cosmic accident as an emergent property of nature, given a variety of conditions... though we still have more work to do in this area.
2) You exist. There is no why, but feel free to create your own as specific to your own personal life, and enjoy the ride.
3) Life in general, and human life specifically, is too inventive and tenacious to be destroyed by anything less than a cataclysmic event, and even then, life will re-emerge, and intelligent life based on our own genetic line would have a pretty fair chance of coming out the other end. Plus, chances are pretty good we'll seed human life on other planets within the solar system in the next few generations or so, which would ensure the survival of the species in a planet-wide catastrophe.
But escaping our own solar system is a whole other story, and though it's possible we make advances sufficient to travel between stars, our sun has a finite shelf life. Once it's gone, so are we. Even assuming we can travel beyond our solar system and seed other planets, the galaxy is slowly being digested by the massive black hole in the center, so it would still only delay the inevitable.
1. Put here by aliens. All races are at a galactic war for eons in space, and this planet was seeded by all different space races to see why we don't get along.
2. To see if we destroy ourselves. See 1.
3. Back to the stars if we come together as a species for the common good.
1.Where do we come from? Alien, Evolution, God, other theory?
Unknown.

No reason. Existence of life is an accident.
