where to download MSI bios upgrades?

I looked on the MSI site, found nothing. I am usually a ASUS Mobo user and am puzzled why MSI does not offer NORMAL SUPPORT, meaning, BIOS downloads.
There are other download source, but I am not crazy enough to go download some untrusted BIOS and expect it to not fry my mobo.

Cannot recommend MSI boards anymore.

I don't believe this!!

The damn tool only works for Windows, you cannot prepare a USB stick on Linux, even having an other Windows system does not work. It actually checks if the board on which you prepare the USB stick runs on the MSI.

Ok, I will only say this:

MSI, FAIL!

I have been using Asus for a long time and never had any kind of trouble like this with them. They work flawlessly on Linux, since it is included in the BIOS.

It is bad enough that you don't flash your older Mobos (I just bought a P35) so that if you install a current CPU, it is not ready for it at all and just freezes. No, you also make it a darn pain to flash BIOS.

Sorry to say this, but this has been my last MSI board.

I always keep a floppy drive on all my builds for things like this. Never had a problem - build the boot floppy from Linux, add the firmware.
All my recent boards came with a BIOS boot CD - easy.
