Ya mighta shoulda oughta add one more category: compatibility (with the 'ole lady, that is). She refuses to even try my Linux; she wants Windows. Love to hear her bitch and moan when it locks up or does other weird stuff.
I haven't finished Call of Duty and one other game I can't remember (you lead a swat team) yet. If somebody gives me a copy of Battlefield 1942, I might keep it around after I finish the other two.
Moved: Linux - General does not say "Post Windows Questions Here!"... Moved to General where its more suited.
Also, I edited the poll for those who don't even use Windows to have an option to vote.
THanks LOL I cant believe I forgot to add that! duuuuuhhh....
I just put up the poll for fun. Hope the question didnt sound all Windows-advocate-ish. Just thought I'd throw it out and see what kind of answers I'd get.
First Person Shooters... Although most of which can be played in Linux... But I didn't wanna vote for RPGs since I don't play many of those. So perhaps the FPS and RPG catagory should be merged into "Games"
Can see that most people don't run windows... but I'm still waiting for the
windows zealots (although linux users) to come and give their two cents... They always talk about linux zealots but I've already noticed this forum has a lot of windows zealots too though been linux users (or trying to, or pretending to be trying to :P).
Because someone doesn't curse Bill Gates and Windows to the abyss and are not members cults which are devoted to killing Bill Gates, does not make them a nonlinux fan. I like linux, but it is not for gaming and I find the word processors and whatnot are not as good as word. I do like the fact that they don't use IE but that is just as easy to do in windows.
I like linux, but I also like windows. To claim I am a Zealot becuase I defend windows is an extremity. I call you zealots because you don't think about an average man who wishes to learn to use a computer blah blah blah. I could go on, but I won't. Read the other flame Microsoft threads for that.
Besides the most important thing of all is gaming here. Linux isnt for gamers period Winex doesnt cut it, wine doesnt cut it and there are next to no ported games for linux. And the games winex does run, run a lot slower. So, Windows is for a gamer nerd and linux is for a non-gamer nerd
