Well I guess we are lucky to an extent in the South.

In North India at this time of the year temperatures reach around 45-47 Celcius.

There have been reports in the media of heat-related deaths so I think this summer has been particularly harsh. It is expected that at this time of the year we have a few summer showers, but this year it has been conspicuous by its absence.

Sorry I'm asking, but I wonder why many people use "Celcius" instead of "Celsius". After all, the name of the scientist was Anders Celsius. See a biography at http://www.astro.uu.se/history/Celsius_eng.html

Google search for Celsius gives 2,990,000 results.
Google search for Celcius gives 410,000 results.

I think many people use it interchangeably, but come to think of it I think Celsius is correct.

The weather forecast for tonight is...dark. Continued dark, with scattered light in the early morning hours.

I like warm weather, but 42 degrees is too much even for me... Approx 22, wind here.

Well, in Southern California, USA it's usually always sunny... Even though we had almost all-time record rainfall It's really not enough for me. I have lived here all my life and it's just too darn sunny all the time. I would like some adverse weather once in awhile, Wind, Rain, Hail, (not snow)... Maybe I should just move north... Hmmm Maybe Eureka....

I'd rather have that than the weather we have in the Ohio Valley in Kentucky. The last couple of days has been a blessing (Sunny, mild around 85 degrees..) but its either too hot and muggy, or we get nasty storms, and in the winter time its COLD! I know you may get spoiled by the sun in Cali though.
