Obviously Tux.

Last time I checked the GNU logo wasnt a cow it was a gnu.

Yeah, I edited the poll, the Gnu is not a cow.. and not sure why you put beef, cow is beef.

Sorry english is not my native language. I forgot gnu is the name of animal too......

what about firefox's logo?, it looks kinda like my cat

well, i voted for the penguin since you didn't mention firefox

altho they are pretty close in my mind, but i think the penguin comes out a bit ahead in my mind

I kinda like the openBSD fish - funny as hell! and one of the books has remarks about script kiddies in the bottom corner chuckle

Heh....
This poll reminds me of something funny , I encountered a couple o'months ago:
When I was looking for some good pictures of a platypus , I stumbled about some seriously outdated pages that dealt with the candidates for the Linux-mascot.
Among the different candidates , there was indeed a platypus and from what I could gather it's been a close call between that one and Tux.
What really struck me , though ,is the following: Ever since I mess around with Linux , I had this idea of one day creating my own "Über-Distro"(A man has to have some dreams , right?) and use the Platypus as its Logo.
That was before I found those pages.
Found out , I wasn't the first one with that idea....
