I am listening to my desktop's loud hard disk, my server's squeaky heatsink fan, and my deskfan going wibble wibble. I listen to various "moderate" types of metal. It has to have a melody, and lots of guitar is good. I even have a couple techno songs lying around somewhere. :-)

I'm listening to:
Cake - Cool Blue Reason
It is available on youtube, but quality is low.
Other good ones from Cake: Shadow Stabbing, The Distance, Commissioning a symphony in C ... and others.

I prefer listening to the music of 70s or 90s. The only music I now listen to is either coldplay or ememinum. Good grief, I cannot even spell the name.

I used to listen to coldplay, but all their songs seem so sad. I don't like that, I want to be cheered up not made even more sad. Or I want to be infused with energy instead of being drained.
