So they call survival greed now? I don't recall we can live properly without currency system(well we can but it is utopia because people won't vote for it alltogether anyway) and it has been like that since past, regardless of material used for that task.

Like we have choice - where is existing&working alternative to live and enjoy life without sinning?

My guess it will take much longer than few centuries..but yeah if you will give respect you will receive respect and there won't be need for so much for our happy ending.

Guys, all your discussions about sin/morality/etc can be done in "the other thread, you know which one"

Personally, I'd like to keep this thread to music only. I found this thread useful as I have found some good bands here through other members.
Can we keep it on topic? Thank you.

Hi,

I keep my music on a iPod. Circa 1950 through 1980. I am old enough to remember the likes of Hank Williams Sr. My mother was a fan of Hank, Early Elvis and big band music. She played Patsy Cline all the time. I would get home as soon as possible to watch American Bandstand. Just loved 'Uncle Lar & 'village idiot' by Larry Lujack. Burned a bundle of 9V batteries listening to LJ on WLS. He played tunes we wanted to hear, some of which were banned on other modern day radio at the time. Language was colorful & interesting for the time.

So I am a big fan of mixed country, country rock, rhythm & blues, plus old time rock & roll.

Annette Funichello was one hot Mouseketeer! Brenda Lee was another beauty with a great set of pipes.

I was expecting more of the stage show with 'Jersey boys' but I still enjoyed the period presentation. 4 Seasons are still a favorite of mine. I might even see the movie since it is based on the stage show.
Pleasant memories!
