sounds a bit like a homework question....

I've reported it to the moderators (see the Report button?) and they will move it etc.

Moved: This thread is more suitable in General and has been moved accordingly to help your thread/question get the exposure it deserves. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt that it is not homework.

A technical writer takes your procedures and makes documents out of them. This is helpful if you have a process that requires some degree of knowledge and having people that lack that knowledge preforming it. Requirements vary mostly this procedure requires good writing/grammar skills and the ability to grasp concepts that they may not have experience with. (this is the idiot writing down what to do for the other idiots)

This totally depends on the environment. If they don't cross over into sysadmin areas this person would be versed in whatever web development language they develop on.

Migration expert sounds to me like you are changing how you do something. I would expect they would know about both areas (the old environment and the new).

Patience, lots and lots of patience and it helps to have knowledge and resources to fix issues.

The lack of response to this maybe means that noone understands where you are--ie what is your education, training, experience, etc.??

It is a little hard to advise you when we don't know anything about you. Take "Web Developer" for example: Have you done any HTML programming? Javascript? Have you ever built a website?

Hello Pixelany

To know these things only i posted this here

Because i want to be the expert in them, which are interesting to me.

I have done my post graduation in computers,

Iam very much interested in Software programming and very good record in the college academics only in the computers but due to some other reasons i could not make it and joined the Hardware industry there i entered into one organization. And iam presently giving the technical support to them in means of lowering the Total cost of the ownership (LAMP, sun secure global desktop, thinkfree and so on) and to suggest better products for the smooth running of the organization. But in our organization the scope of imlementing of new technologies are not full encouraging due to non technical superiors, and afraid of the new things which may affect the current smooth running for some extenct.

These days iam planning to shift my job, so now iam unable to decide my self what is my destiny what is the job i should go as iam interested in Software programming with networking related subjects due to its enthusiastic topics, and my experience of 3 years is in implementation and researching with the new products.

So to know what are the jobs are avaialble for me,

To know that i choose these 3 to 4 jobs and want to know full information.

Also i want to say one thing that like my organization so many people does not have idea about the opensource free softwares which can make their organizations piracy free. As they afraid to invest the money on licenses which are not physical to show the people (The Govt organization to serve the litigant public not revinue generation) what they invested. So iam very much interested to bring the awareness in them. And by using these FOSS there is no need of investing crores of money on licenses.
