Thank you for the information. I have only been using true slackware this year, and it is the only distro I have used that has Lilo by default. I started on Mandrake (found it difficult with only a dialup modem), then took up using ubuntu in 2004 for a few years. As they say I learnt ubuntu. I then tried about 10 distros and found myself preferring Slackware based systems. I have learnt far more from using true slackware than all the other systems put together.
