I have said this over and over again. I don't believe any OS is secure while connected to the internet. The past has proven that any number of critical flaws show up year after year. Pawn2Own contests provide proof that no OS is safe in my opinion. The best you can do is learn and use as many best practices as possible to lessen the chance.

The windows OS is a virus in itself. And windows 10 is spyware malware.
