Question USB partitions not showing up in Windows

hey friends,
i created two partitions in my pendrive using GNUs parted utility. one of 35 mb the minimum which i can made to store Grub files to be boot in case of emergency and other 900 something for storing data...

now my problem, whenver i plug my pendrive in windows it is only showing Ist 35 Mb partition and not mounting other partition.

what could be the problem??

What partition types are they? Are the partitions formatted?

I'll assume you're using winXP. I'm not sure how to help you, but you can find more information about your drives by going to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Computer Management, then Disk Management, which is under Storage. Curiosity asks: what did you use to format your usb partitions? Mkfs? Windows? Perhaps it'd work if you formatted in windows rather than linux.

The problem seems to be Windows-specific, so the thread is moved to General.
