unSpawn and Jeremy....please read

unSpawn,

(((((((First off this is posted because unSpawn chooses not to receive PM's!))))))))

Please don't get in my case for selling or making a profit on LQ.

regarding this thread:
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...threadid=82076

I'm doing no such thing!

I was offering a FREE server to a fellow linux person wanting to learn linux (who asked if anyone had any "FREE" servers)!!!!

Do you know what FREE is?

It's not my problem that cli_man was offering his item up for $100.

I was doing it all for FREE. Which is what this place is about !!!

------------------------
and this part unSpawn:
"*free as in *you* don't have to pay any bills to keep it running, OK."

WRONG!!!!!!! I'm a contributing member. Which means I help keep it running.

Even at that. I don't make a profit over the back of LQ!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please watch who you attack unSpawn.

------------------------

Thanks,
Whitehat

I'll reply publicaly to clarify the policy. LQ is not a medium for the public exchange of physical goods. It puts LQ at risk and there are many places that will facilitate such an exchange. I sincerely appreciate you becoming a Contributing Member WhiteHat - you are helping to support LQ. Reading unSpawn's post I don't think he was attacking, but merely pointing out the rule incase it was not known. If you have any questions about the policy feel free to post.

Jeremy and I have taken care of things. I'll just contact folks via email to offer up free servers in the future

Peace.
