BSD, Lunix, Debian and Mandrake are all versions of an illegal hacker operation system, invented by a Soviet computer hacker named Linyos Torovoltos, before the Russians lost the Cold War.
(Mind you, I only skimmed through it, that's why I didn't catch the joke sooner)
I'm quite sure that this is meant to be a parody of those "your teenager may be engaging in Satanism if" pamphlets that were so common during the 80s and 90s.
