it's very tempting to be honest, but it's doing no harm... i'd hoped it was acutally a joke when someone suggested it yesterday. oh well. just please don't try to turn this site into the one you used to use....

it takes a lot of time and work to get a distro feeling 'comfortable' and a lot of searching and downloading of tings that seem invaluable at the time. why then do i sometimes feel compelled to just reformat the whole thing and start over?

its a place where you can say any little thing you want that you want to share but is maybe not worthy of its own thread.

a place for worthless dregs to some. just a place for the little things to others.

ode to linux

you are the greatest of systems,
mysterious and deep.
i stay up with you all night,
i love it when you say beep.
millions write software for you by the score,
when i was with windows everything cost so much more.
my friends think im crazy 'cause of all of my talk,
and because of that penguin that on my bumper i've got.
i love you linux what more can i say,
i'll make some more coffee and we'll compile away.

its all gone now. a wisp of a sweet dream that, upon wakening, slips through the fingers of your mind leaving naught for its existence but a faint feeling of peace and happiness.
