Hi there!
I'd like to ask you guys if you ever tried out this script here:
Faster KDE
With this thing KDE loads MUCH faster. Just overwrite your /opt/kde/bin/startkde script with startkde.fastest and if something goes wrong then try startkde.faster which loads a little bit slower. Ofcourse it's still not as fast as Flux but it's better than nothing and with all the nice thingies that KDE has to offer and with this script I think I'll stay with KDE for awhile. :)

I'm using KDE3.1beta2, so I guess it won't work for me... But it may be interesting to look into the code. Thanks!
