Tips for PC games of all kinds....

I just beat Doom3 on Nightmare without dying once (which I am VERY happy about), and I came across something I haven't noticed before. In the firey passages right before the hellgate, if you take the middle passage (not the left one like you are supposed to) there is a brick that says Id on it. I push it in, and I get a secret room. In the room there is a PDA. It just has emails from Id staff like "Its done", and "Thanks for playing our game.". But I noticed that I get updated security clearance when I picked up the PDA, what is that about? Also, anyone needing help with any PC or console game, post here.

You can find nearly every walk-through, cheats and general FAQ's and reviews for every game in every platform right here:

I loved Doom 3, hated the PDA idea. It takes me too away from the action. I mean, you are very concentrated at the screen, walking in tiny dark corridors with great ambient and sound effects and all eye candy you need, waiting for a monster to jump on you, when you suddenly find a god damn PDA, with e-mails and video/audio data from somebody else, who is dead, just to find the code for a locker. Really bad planned. That's what I liked about Doom-classic, only action. If you have to do something telling a story, Half-Life did a way better job too. No reading, just listening and shooting.
