Thwarted by Borland
An attempt to use a Windows C++ program for which I have the source code has bogged down apparently because of files bundled with Borland's compiler packages. Since some of these are available for download where is the problem? With my arthritc linux box I'm not sure that the download of a 10 MB file would finish before the heat death of the universe. Is it ethically permitted for someone with access to Borland's inner mysteries to share ancillary files? Like I currently have identified vcl.h, Classes.hpp, Controls.hpp, StdCtrls.hpp, and Forms.hpp as requirements for my application. Would/could anyone supply copies of these files or perhaps descriptions of what might lie within so I can give the program what it wants? rm
