The Gimp 2.8

Thanks to the Slackware forums, i was informed about the latest release from the Gimp team. I was one of the people who found the multi-window setup a pain in the but. I'm no professional graphics editor, but i like making fake funny pics for Facebook, and i also colour manga i've drawn, on the computer. Even though i've had Gimp installed, i still opened up my buggy old photoshop in wine when i needed to do editing. Today i upgraded Gimp to 2.8 so i can benefit from the single window ui.
I am so happy, i've been playing around acquainting my self better with The Gimp almost all day. I think this is a great release, and now the one window feature has been implemented, i think i may be able to do away completely with photoshop very soon. Once i save up a few dollar, they'll definitely get a donation. Thank you very much to the Gimp developers.

Thats all i wanted to say; feel free to comment.

Here is a review, if anyone cares... We'll, I don't think that the OP will care, because that sounds like delight in that first post, but someone else may happen on this thread and wonder what the fuss is about.
