BTW: Another question for bluegospel: Who is Joshua|Jeshua|Jesus|othernames really? God himself masquerade as human? Son of God? Angel of God? Prophet of God? Other option? Why is there so much theories about him?!. Another problem with "holy books" - they get rewritten and edited too much..at the end nothing is clear anymore..

Saying someone is a bigot (after displaying bigoted actions), is a hypocrite (after saying one thing then doing another), and a liar (promising something then not doing it), is also not bad...simply the truth.

I don't use the words lightly, but I can only base such things on the words/actions of whom I use them to describe.

+1 Also then how would you describe this logical fallacy then(it is obvious troll or similar):

OK so this should imply person with nickname "bluegospel" is honest. But then let's also look at his signature:
Quote:
"Yes, I'm a programmer; and yes, I'm a sinner too."
So he also states he is a sinner. In that case it is even wierd that he answered questions meant for God's people and at the end wrote this:

Last time i checked..chosen people were either saints or people who were granted special rights or privileges so that they could also proove their claims. Since according to popular "holy books" and religions one of the reason we are seperated from God is because of sin so how can sinner know answers to questions asked to God? This is false preaching to me unless person who is preaching can provide evidence of opposite. Isn't that correct? Should be.

I don't think it should imply that. He's only claiming to avoid "recklessly" calling other people dishonest.

Whatever..you know - at some point probably everyone stumbles upon this quote:
Quote:
The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist.
Who said God & others couldn't do same?

What's that supposed to mean? Have you found "god" that you can talk about "god"? According to scriptures God has chosen Israel to be his chosen location on Earth and Jews as his chosen people but we have yet to see second coming..

The mods\all are only as good as gods in *my eye.

If I don't "believe" then as an agnostic\atheist I can not be insured for acts of "god" but I still have to deal with it due to the separation of earth and Education...

God plays favorites?

Haven't been posting in this thread for a while, just kinda been kicking back watching discussions going back and forth, but I think I will throw my hat in once more since something caught my eye...

You know I have always had a problem with that verse. If God 'loves' everyone, then why does God play favorites all of the sudden? That passage suggests any non-jewish peoples are nothing to God. I have often wondered in that case, does God discriminate?

The three Abrahamic religions all talk about how God is merciful and supposed to love all , but some passages like that seem to suggest otherwise, or has a favorite among the rest.... hrmmm

Don't ask me..i'm not God's messenger but i agree - so far there is only descriptions of what will happen but no real explanation why Islam and why Jews? Unless you search for yourself that is..i guess it is because of promise God made to them but dunno..

Let me put it this way then. If you would be living in a society where you are treated as biorobot you would grow up, believe you are and behave like one since you would be believing you are one since you were taught you are. It is same answer - how you are teached and raised as child. I can share some great movie related to this - The Island. Imagine you would be one of them - living life like normal to one day find out you are clone for body-parts to real humans who made you clone from and for them. Same stuff analogy. You don't decide your perception of world you live in - environment does and system you are put it because you are born as child with no concept whatsoever - it is only later when you become adult and you get seeds of doubt that you start seeing world different..
