Evolution only occurs in discrete steps at the quantum level of phenotypical discription... the Genetic level...

If you could observe at this scale... you would actually see a nucleotyde change into another one at the phase of DNA replication or RNA transcription... it is called Mutation ( can be induced by lots of stuff, radiations, chemicals, randomness, error etc ) Sometimes it is lethal, sometimes it is not, on the contrary, it is quite viable and superior...

but a multicellular organism is a very complex and organized issue... the path of evolution is the sum of the most favourable of these discrete leaps, and its contribution along thousands of years yeld progressively different species... ( Fish actually morph into mammals, but it takes quite a while... )

I use a similar approach to design Structures of aircraft... selective pressure of constraints and loads, force random perturbations in the design specs to be the fittest according to a peculiar index of merit ( structural intagrity, strenght, etc )

BRGDS

So small in fact, only Tacitus and Josephus really make any mentioning of it outside of the bible. And on note of Josephus mentioning Jesus, it has been proven that it was not written by Josephus himself but fabricated and added later during the copy process. Why would a Roman at the time of Jesus call him Christ? These were the very people who condemned him to be Christ, or son of god.

May God strike me dead if He exists. That should cover it.

The number of additions and removals to so-called contemporary documents to shoehorn in Jesus is frightening. What's worse is that it was done really badly. Just compare and contrast the Gospels - they cannot keep the personality or the story of Jesus straight.

And welcome back Trickykid!

Heh, probably only back briefly, I'm already getting bored reading posts and threads. Only signed in because a search for something specific led me here.

Thanks. I just really logged in so I can surpass the 24k post mark to be honest. After being absent off and on for the past two years, am I still in second behind that monkey Acid_Kewpie?

That's funny, maybe we should keep posting on this thread to try to keep up with the Windows-Linux mega thread, or the dd thread... oi

Yeah, Acid's on about 36000 or somewhere about there. I may have to ban him so the rest can catch up

Clearly it would take a few years. According to my posts, since 01-01-2009, I've made 117 posts in the past year and a half and hardly anyone (that I have seen yet) has reached the 20k mark, sadly, almost half of those 117 posts were in the past two days.

I need to stop hanging out in General - it's affecting my post count. Or I need someone to make 1,852 problem threads in my forums so I can close them and up my post count.

Haven't any of them struck you down yet? They're a lazy bunch. Useless. No wonder nobody believes in them.

Eh...they are like management types: delegate all the dirty work. I guess that's why we only see the followers of the religions commit the atrocities, not the gods themselves.

It did rain for about an hour or two. Does that count? (I. Think. Not.) Easier challenge for god(s) - may god(s) strike me down with indeterminately aching muscles if they exist.
