Test My Webhost

I know this is un-related to MANY things, but could you guys (anyone) visit Februus Comics and see if the server is up and running. I am at work and only have out access to port 80, so online chat rooms are out of the question. This leads me here; the LinuxQuestions.org forum. The only place where I know people are active. If anyone could respond with their location and whether or not the webpage appeared I would appreciate it.

Regards,
aratis

-sorry for the un-related post.

Questions regarding the status of a given website should be directed to the site admin of that website rather than LQ, since there really isn't anything LQ can do if the "xyz.com" site is down. My recommendation would be that if you encounter trouble trying to access a given site, the best thing to do would be to Email the webmaster of that site with the details. Just my 2 cents -- J.W.

Emailing to yourself usually doesn't give much more info than you already have J.W

Site doesn't work for me though, aratis.

this is the reponse I just got:

The requested URL could not be retrieved

While trying to retrieve the URL: http://februuscomics.com/

The following error was encountered:

Unable to determine IP address from host name for februuscomics.com

The dnsserver returned:

Server Failure: The name server was unable to process this query.

This means that:

The cache was not able to resolve the hostname presented in the URL.
Check if the address is correct.
