There are not very many shows that actually cause the spontaneous sound of laughter to leave my lips. This show, along with Family Guy, is one of those few. I have watched only 3 episodes so far, as I just recently got a DVR and am able to record and watch it around my schedule. It really induces some rather good open mouth chuckles from me.
I hate this show. As a long time nerd, I find the characters on the show so different from the real thing that I cannot bear to watch it. My nerdy wife agrees.
Family Guy is funny as shit though.. but then again, people have different levels of what's funny and what's not.
I should give it another shot. I think I saw the first episode, but did not like it. I think with comedy, you need to watch when you are in a good mood and Family Guy probably caught me in a bad day
Anyway, I've downloaded The Bing Band Theory. The whole season took me almost 2 hours to download (yeah, I download TV-series, because TV over here sucks. Most series never appear here and when they do, they are seasons behind US).
Just finished watching the first episode and I loved it . But then again, it is the pilot, it has to be good
I will continue to watch it and see how it goes. Thanks for the tip, I was running out of options of stuff to watch at evenings
Wow! So far this has been a relatively negative response. I am surprised. But to each his own. I respect that.
Yes, there really is no serious plot. But how many 1/2hr sitcoms do?
And the science used in it is not particularly correct (is it ever?).
This show is more about the quick quips exchanged by each of the characters, designed for a fast laugh.
If you don't like Family Guy, you can't come over to my house! Actually, Family Guy does contain material that can be considered objectionable to some, so I definitely understand. It just happens to be right up MY alley.
This show rocks only to a certain extent cuz the humour at times is really contrived....perhaps its because i watched the first three episodes and i think the second last one about the dude who was learning Chinese...and the chic who...never mind. Didnt like it that much.
Well, I am done with the first season. Watched the 17th episode right now and I loved it. Thanks SlowCoder for creating this thread because I was unaware of that show
Some episodes were far funnier than others, but I think that is the way it goes with every TV show I've ever watched.

What do you guys think about it?
i like some of the comments, like when he got insulted when she called him an astronaut (the theoretical physics guy)
