Future Historians will look with disbelief at these times.

Modern Amerikans are as passive as the dead. May as well be. They wait in faith for "god" to fix it (and everything).

Eventually the necessary changes will be made for them, but not by a god.

History will say the culture died of stupidity.

Money is the universal hall pass across the planet. Opinionated people. With hate in their hearts.
They are usually a common denominator with this condition.

Not just limited to Americans. There all also smart cookies , good people every where also. People are diverse in their nature.
Universal malfeasance by govts, and corporations, across the planet everywhere. It is a common theme.

Well, "the Internet" was a totally revolutionary development, and we were sh*t-stupid with it.

George Orwell's 1984 was only about 20 years too early, and we learned absolutely nothing from it.

"Knowledge Is Power™" is a well-known truism, but no one today is willing to accept that knowledge is also a power that can – and, therefore, will – be used to wreak tremendous evil.

The ways in which this evil will be manifested will be as unconventional as the technology itself ... such that conventional armed forces will be powerless against it. It really doesn't take much imagination to piece together scenarios. All that's missing is society's acceptance of the reality that someone is out there right now, doing that.

When explosives experts "dropped" three buildings into their own footprint in New York City, and did the whole thing right under our noses, this should have been enough to cause people to "think differently" about what War will one day be, and how utterly naked we can be to the power of resourcefulness and unconventional thinking in the hands of psychopaths. But, no one is doing that. For nothing more than "filthy lucre," they're carefully sowing both the seeds and the infrastructure of their own destruction.

Just as the otherwise-brilliant Japanese Admiral Yamamoto could not expand his thinking beyond "the battleship" and grasp the implications of "the aircraft carrier," modern policy can only see the shiny side of the internet coin – not the dark side.
