Suppliers of DRM-free ebooks?

Ebook publishers are repeating the mistakes made by the music industry, in mangling their offerings with very obstructive DRM. This is particularly ironic when companies produce electronic versions of books o Linux and free software in a format which cannot then be read on a PC using free operating systems.

A notable exception to this is O'Reilly, who supply all their ebook titles in DRM-free PDF, Epub and .mobi formats. However, sometimes I want to read something a little less techy.

Does anyone know of any other publishers who are taking the high road? I would be particularly interested in DRM-free sci-fi titles in .mobi format (which display better than PDFs on my phone).*

* Actually, my phone is Symbian based, and could handle DRM'd files. I just refuse to buy them.

I understand that amazon has a "drmfree" tag, so there may be some there.

Publishers are getting killed and they're old school businesses. You're going to see a lot more ebooks out there with the kindle and the like but very few will be drm free. Just not in the cards for the next 5 years. IMO.
