Student looking for laptop <$150

Hi guys,
It's been a while since I've been on the board. It's nice to be back, haha.

I'm out in Portland Oregon, and just looking for a laptop I can use when I start school. I need something under $150. I'm taking two Linux classes my first semester! I cant wait to get started.

Well, please let me know if you have an old laptop or know of a good place I could get one like I described.
Thanks,
Matt

As odd as this may sound....

I'm traveling down through Portland possibly tomorrow night or Friday. I have a laptop that I took apart and is doing me virtually no good since I don't know how to get it back together... I'd be happy to "donate" it to you for free and wish you the best of luck at fixing (or just burning it if you can't fix it ) it if you'd like. If not, no worries, it's not like it's taking up a whole lot of room. It's been a LONG time since I've booted it, I think it was win95 on it, an old Compaq Armada. Maybe 400mhz if that? Anyway, it's not solid yet that we will be traveling through Portland, however if you are interested in the Laptop, I'll talk to my buddy and see if we can make it solid, if we can't (I'll post back as soon as I find out for sure, probably late tomorrow afternoon), please disregard the above .

Cool

Pent 90-120Mhz in your price range.

http://www.ebay.com/

http://half.ebay.com/

To name a few also do a search on http://www.google.com/

used laptops can get to be expensive just do some searching.

Ebay searches

I've saved a ton of money on Ebay by limiting my searches to whatever I'm looking for and the name of my hometown. Then if you make sure that you "search in titles and descriptions" and they accept pickups, you will not have to pay for shipping.
try this: http://search-desc.ebay.com/search/s...Sort&catref=C1
