If I have learned one thing about politicians; I have learned that they seldom listen to anyone except themselves and their " monied interests "!! Unless an angry mob is outside they could care less about the general public!!

I have traveled both as a traveler and in the military. I don't see how living in a different country working as a DOD employee is somehow different than working for IBM. Can you explain how that would be different?

Wars don't cause war. People cause war. Anyone who didn't sleep through history classes would know the suspected causes of war. Living in different countries did help me get more than one side of the story.

If you feel your country is the best in the world then you are welcome to try to convince other countries to join you. Many countries will not listen to you. Some may jail you, some may kill you.

I'd think you'd have more luck asking people to stop stealing.

I'm not against anyone calling for peace. I'm all for it. It is simply not going to happen as long as there are crooks in the world or zealots that want to change others.

Right now there are countries where this sort of discussion may be considered illegal or worse.

While computers can kill. Do guns?

Militaries and supporters are too much for stealing\keeping than healing... and, the ideas of necessary-evils are not bound there.

Unimaginable tracks of time will justly wipe gun, bombs, whatever out!

How many times have you been manipulated into battle?? My young friends, sisters, girlfriends, and yes my governments have set me up for fights!! Of course I have set myself up for battle on many times when I did not think rationally!! At 71 my pride, my ego, and my testosterone are not able to overpower my common sense and that is just fine with me. Although it would be very nice if wars never happened it is a sad fact of life that our species is very violent and therefore warlike!!

That's one good way to keep war alive, dreams of intergalactic war; squashing life is as easy as space cockroaches, teaching all the babes of earth would be too hard anyway!
