Starting a LUG?

Anyone have any advice for starting a LUG? I go to a state university, and we have no LUG within 70 miles. There used to be one some years ago, but it is no longer here. I want to start one, but I have no idea where to begin. Thanks!

same here. no linux users. even people in my csc class seem to have an aversion to linux, or at the best an indifference to it. sad sad. no lug.
