SPAM Blacklists....

Hey friends,

so I am a network admin for a company and our emails are being considered junk email. How do I prevent this from happening? Is there a tool or a website that will search all of the BL and so at least I can contact them and get myself removed? Or could this be an issue with my setting in QMAIL? (the mail server we use).

Thanks!!!!

our emails are being considered junk email.
What do the reports say (example)?

How do I prevent this from happening?
- don't use an IP in a dynamic range,
- don't forge headers,
- if you send bulk email flag it with the appropriate header,
- use opt-in not opt-out,
- no HTML email. HTML email is EVIL,
- stay out of the DM/mortgage/ero-pharma/fake watches/whatever else business, ;-p

Check dsbl.org , rbls.org

and so at least I can contact them and get myself removed?
Remember that, regardless of any RBL's used, canning SPAM is a client-side decision.

Or could this be an issue with my setting in QMAIL?
We're usually very low on ESP here. No posted confs/logs/whatever else means no answer possible.

Go to DNSstuff.com and put your domain in the Spam database lookup section. It will provide you with the names of RBL organizations that are blacklisting you.

Also to add to the list, make sure your server is secure and you are not a spamming zombie or an open relay.
