that is totatally absurd...
there must be some unwritten thing that makes this such a "big deal"...
but to me it totally makes no sense...
and its not even in mint condition heh

i just emailed him, cause i am very curious on why this is selling at this price...i'll get back with results

Something is seriously wrong in this world if someone actually is willing to purchase this for that amount of money.

...and still, that's just the second most weird eBay story I've heard.

I think you're misunderstanding. I am selling this receipt. I was selling it as a joke to mess with a friend of mine. One of my friends bid on it and then someone else did too........now all heck is breaking loose on this thing. Who the heck is this big of a moron

LOL

Someone showed me an auction on eBay once that someone was selling "Air" of Hurricane Isabelle. I think the winning bidder got it at around $80 bucks. Funny thing was, the air was captured in a Gladlock seal baggy..

The first thing that came to my mind on the person who bought it was.. "Moron"

Anyways.. that got me an idea, the next time I sneezed and coughed while sick, I was going to capture my germs and sell them on eBay, just to see if anyone was stupid enough to buy them..

I've just got to know, what ended up happening to the reciept. Did someone other than your friends actually bid on it... or win it?

Hehe.....

No. Once more than one buddy found out about it things went nuts. I had to stop everything because it was going to go to like $18,000

SO......it was funny though. It has been an inside joke since one year I put one up for fun and people really bid on it and asked me questions. It was crazy

Peace,
Whitehat

I would have loved that.......but you do get charged a percentage from eBay

That would have sucked for me because I would have had to pay $281.12 for the joke as a seller

That's why I opted to cancel early

k i am not sure i understand...your original post makes it out as if you just stumbled across this auction, and are just as baffled as the rest of us, but the rest of your posts make it seem like your the one that started this auction, and are now a thousand dollars richer? did i miss something?
