Soma/BBC URLs
 
Yes, the BBC in their infinite wisdom have yet again changed their radio URLs.

These are the ones that I've found so far:

BBC Radio 3,http://bbcmedia.ic.llnwd.net/stream/bbcmedia_radio3_mf_q
BBC Radio 4,http://bbcmedia.ic.llnwd.net/stream/bbcmedia_radio4fm_mf_q
BBC Radio 4 Extra,http://bbcmedia.ic.llnwd.net/stream/bbcmedia_radio4extra_mf_q
You can put these in either ~/.soma/stations.conf or /etc/soma/stations.conf

If any others come to light I'll add them. Or if anyone else has found any please post below.

My suspicion is that this is all about them being able to apply drm to their streams in the future.

my local radio station does mp3 and aac in addition to normal radio waves
and no, it's not "too expensive", it's no extra cost to do

Search for 'BBC' at UK Radio Feeds:

http://www.radiofeeds.co.uk/

The 320k stereo AAC links all seem to work.

Great link, although coincidentally our own feed was kaput all afternoon today thanks to Virgin Media "forgetting" that we need a static IP... it's been a bad day :cry:
