( I put this in general because I figured people wouldn't go to the slackware forum to read this, and it's good info. )
OK just an FYI:
I downloaded Slackware Live last night and burned it to CD. Today I brought it into work and threw it in a 733MHz box with 384MB RAM. Booted off the CD and in like less than 1 minute it was up and to the desktop of KDE 3.1
I surfed around the web a bit and even used RDesktop to connect to some of our Windows Servers here.
I don't know how they did it, but they crammed a crapload of great linux stuff into a 180MB Slackware CD based distro.
