Furby's run Linux?

My dad probably still has 2 of them (originals) in his locked collectable closet...

I don't own a furby or even a tux penguin mascot. But I do remember that funny story on how these fury toy creatures was a treat to national security because they repeat what others say, sort of what a parrot does.
