Searching Powerful Search Engine

Hallo linux users,

I'm currently in search for job. I have of course tried monster and other popular job search engines, but find that they don't offer even one job in automation from companies located in my town, which is not big, but definitely has lots manufactories. With the following syntax:
(robot* OR automation) AND (job* OR career*) in google, the results are still not that satisfactory. My questions are:
Are there any more powerful search engines und GPL?
Are there better syntaxes recommended for this issue?

Thanks a lot in advance
