Screen streaming and remote control application

Hi,

I have just been using Beam Your Screen's free trial, which is really quite good (but, sadly, it only works on Windows - it's alright though for showing Linux on a VM). What it does is it allows remote users to view and control your screen, as and when you wish (by right-clicking and selecting their username, they are allowed control).

However, there are two problems with it:

1) It doesn't have audio, so it is much more difficult to explain what is happening.
2) An external chat application has to be used in order to talk between the users, choose who will be next to control the screen, etc..

So, I was wondering if there are any other free alternatives to this. It would be preferable if it worked on Linux as well (that would be brilliant), but there isn't really much I can do if it's Windows-only.

Thanks in advance,

-jk ;)
