Post Ripple video

Announcing the completion of the Ripple introductory video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f9KqSgRZYgg

This video illustrates the goals and functionality of Ripple. It can also be used with the "What is Bitcoin" video (http://www.weusecoins.com/).

Congratulations to Nitin on a job very well done, and many thanks to all contributors. Enjoy!

As almost every one of your posts has been to promote shady products, I am going to report you and recommend that you be banned.

There's nothing shady here, and I'm just sharing information about a free and open source project that may interest other readers.

I think part of the issue is the frequency in posts promoting this vs other productive posts. If you're here to participate at LQ and happen to sometimes promote a project, that's fine. If you're here solely to promote that project, that's not what LQ is about.

That may be so but not completely true. Your http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...volves-867528/ was an interesting starting point wrt alternative monetary ecosystems and a topic not mentioned before on LQ AFAIK.
