Reverse SSH connection between Linux and an Android ?
 

Hello

I would like to send the audio (hw:1,0) of my Linux box to an Android tablet, but all the operation will be done over a reverse connection for easy firewall pass through.

1) Linux <-> Linux working
It is for sure very easy with two Linux machines (so no Android), and it works flawlessly well. You can listen over distant Linux box.

2) what about with Linux <-> Android?
Android is Linux-like (kinda closed apps) but ok, it might be eventually done. So I tried to use JuiceSSH but it does not allow the reverse visibly in practice.

Would you know which application on the Android might work, and allow to play the audio (having an audio player for the pipe over, such as mplayer/ffplay)?

Iǘe done it painlessly using sshd on the linux box and ssh on the android. Apps are available. I have Connect Bot installed for ssh.

it seems that you cannot reverse at all with it.

I do not know if it is better, I have not looked. Very pressed for time - sorry.
