Restored computer with windows 98 and it would not recognize my modem.

I restored my computer (windows 98) and it would not recognize my Modem (SinglePoint 56k 92v). It worked prior to restoration but was not the origianl modem. I do not have the CD that came with the new modem any this the problem? Do i buy a new MODEM?

bhelms; maybe not(buy another) . google to find site for that modem then search further for driver. that may do the trick. also search for that modem,s mfg & request assistance for driver.
