remote shell account services

i would like to subscribe to a service that would provide a remote shell account for me, thus enabling me to use a cell phone, pda, any laptop, etc... to do my business (with the remote shell account). Has anyone heard of such an idea, any suggestions ?

i have seen several companies offering shell services, however they seem mostly geared toward people who want to run irc bots.

Moved: Not a technical question, questions asking for service type providers are more suitable in General.
