Remote Server, Local Printing, on Windows
I have deployed a Windows 2000 Server on public network..with terminal services and remote desktop logon enabled. I also have an application deployed on this terminal server. Now I want that when I print the document on the remote server, the print job gets redirected to the printer on my local machine ( which can be a shared printer on my local network too).
I have come across something called remote print redirection on microsoft support, but that looks very confusing. Is there any documentation or an article that can assist me in attaching a printer on my local network to my remote server ? Also, if such a facility is not available on windows 2000 server, then is there any third party software that can allow me to work on my remote server and print to a local printer ? pls guide..thanx --amit I |
