Remember a cool Honda commercial?

I while back I believe I posted a link to the most inovative auto commercial by Honda (who didn't get a chance to see it it is right here http://www.daboyz.org/honda/ )
Now there is a little remix
http://the118118experience.com/
just wait for page to load click on the center image and click on enter, the videos page will load and you'll find it on the top right TV icon.
Enjoy it.

I only just managed to convince myself that the tyres going up hill is definitely genuine....

as for 118 118.... ack I hate those people... we're flooded with those ad's at the moment. count yourself lucky. personally i'm a 11 88 88 man myself... those runners are very expensive...

Well, I know it is a weird stuff from UK, but the original commercial is real stuff. The tires are weighted, and if you look at it closely you could see that the whole thing was shot in two takes, the muffler rolling gives it away a bit, but nonetheless it is great, I just don't know if 6 billion pounds were worth it. How is the Japanese automarket doing in Europe?

I shouldn't worry too much Boris, perhaps Nicksan forgets that the US and UK are two nations divided by a common language.

regards

John

p.s. Chris is right, though personally, I am starting to find all the UK ad's for the new directory enquiries numbers rather "tiresome".

Two takes? TWO? You've gotta be kidding? Actually, when I was at my second placement school (prior to quitting the teaching course) we watched the 'making of' DVD on a laptop + projector. Very sad to see 6 Science teachers (and I included myself in that, even though I was only a trainee) all commenting on the amazing precision and physics at work. Anyway, I ramble, the interview footage said that it was shot in many, many (+100 at least) attempts but yes, the final thing was put together from two halves, which are supposed to be seamless, but it definitely isn't.

Is it just who wonders if anyone in the entire country actually gives a toss either way about which directory services provider they ring? 118118 is an absolute ripoff... 49p per call??? 118888 is half this price... so they'd get my vote so far, but then there must be others who haven't advertised at all who'd be cheaper... hard too see how one could be better than another really...
