Recommendations for audio and video (particularly for music) turnkey hosting service

My ignorance is primarily with the nuances of audio and video streaming especially music. I can't tell the difference between music played well and not well. I can't tell the difference between the different file types. Technically I know the difference, but my ears are clueless. I am musically oblivious.

I am helping a musician set up a website that would host audio and video files. I am not the Sys Admin of this venture, just the girlfriend. I agreed to help find an appropriate hosting service. Appropriate means completely turnkey like Weebly or Square for the e-commerce market. The end user is willing to learn but a little behind the times in what's available.

Has anyone had experience with any of these services listed or with any other host that specializes in audio and video hosting.

I haven't used any of those services except SoundCloud, but only to listen to other people's music, not to upload music (I am not a musician anyway). Of those, SoundCloud seems to be very popular, both among amateur and professional musicians.

i hear subsonic is good.
there's even free forks.

but i'm not sure about "turnkey" and the weebly analogy...
imho you're more lilely to shoot yourself in the foot with "turnkey" solutions.
setting things up manually is much saner.
ymmv.

edit:
i might have misunderstood what op is after...

An acquaintance of a friend uses Bandcamp and is the reason I have the "app" installed on this phone. I bought the album in FLAC that way.
