Draw a triangle and measure the angles; pretty simple actually.

Hi,
This is my first post in this thread. Do you consider sleep paralysis a science or spiritual warfare? I assume maybe both.
Two weeks ago, I think I experience sleep paralysis. I felt a squeezing feeling on my side. It last for only a few seconds. Three days ago, I was startle when I saw a foggy dark silhouette from my sleep paralysis. I said, OH, SH!T!!!, it too was a mere two or three seconds.
Has anyone experience this sleep paralysis? My experience was mild, I seen others on youtube where some experience choking or physical attacks.
Very weird...

My girlfriend gets those fairly often (a few times a year), I never have. She says that she sees some kind of silhouette or feels a presence, but can't move or speak or do anything about it. I find out about it when I wake up in the middle of the night and she's practically on top of me holding on for dear life. She always asks me if I could hear her because she was trying as hard as she could to scream during it, but I've never heard anything.
Neither of us think it's any kind of religious experience, it's just a unique kind of nightmare. Kind of like the ones I get where I'm trying to run from something but my legs aren't working so I have to run on my hands, and for some reason I'm crazy fast at it...I get that one about every 3-4 months.

They really are back to teach ID in science classes, although the Supreme Court ruled that ID is not science?
Man, those students will have a hard time when they go to Universities and see how science really works.

I confess I used to have these, not so often now. I realized lately that the chances of me having a sleep paralysis or choking was more when I slept on my back with my hands on my chest. With time the frequency has reduced drastically though.
Regards.

Don't worry. By that time, we will progressively raise the bar and corrupt universities also to teach ID, astrology, wican etc. After all, if these studes finished basic schooling believing that ID is also a "theory", then we have to cater to this growing population demographic by allowing them to go to college blissfully unaware of the facts.
OK

False
If you're born into some religions\families you get to "sin" (more.) All is circular logic (like uoıʇdǝɔɹǝd) facts don't exist... "God" will die when earth dose, now that’s a fact.
K1 for all under two! We should all at lest agree on that I would hope.

When will most people learn that science itself is not perfect tool for explaining everything in universe and it also is evolving and adjusting with time and new evidence AND it doesn't decide stuff it just explains it? Sure it works but if you look at definition of God it is clearly visible that God by definition is more powerful than science or religion because God created science and religion and also that there exists other stuff out there like magic(rituals) etc. That also shows something else is needed for complete picture from given puzzle to everyone..and maybe because we have sinned we don't see God directly? Don't forget that God can be inside of us aswell and that is another thing you can't deny since you exist but how it happened?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XbLJtxn_OCo & http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RBOjhMw4-oQ
Anyway for people who like to participate in religion warfares some recent time ago another forum opened - Talk Reason. Can get rid of some religious steam there instead..
P.S.So the only real conclusion we can make without BIAS is - we don't know yet for sure if there is or is not some force(s) we call God or Creator but we will eventually later. Simple.

With 4K+ posts and spanning nearly 6 years this is actually one of the long-lived threads everyone at LQ is allowed to post to any time.

By definition? So a bunch of philosphers and religous types sittign around debating creates reality? I dont think so.
There are _many_ possible situations where there is a god (or gods). IMO its just as likely that 'god/gods' could have arisen as a side effect of the physical world, and were not involved with 'creation' at all.
