Question about AMD X2 4400+ Clock Frequency

I just bought a X2 4400+ and i have a Giga-Byte K8-NSC-939 Board. I upgraded the BIOS on the board which supports the X2 processor. I boot up the machine, the processor registers, however it says CPU clock frequency is 200mhz. In bios theres a tweaking section, in which i tried to set a hammer setting to 2200MHZ to no avail. Any suggestions as to what to do? thanks!
