PSPP

Hi folks,

I have PSPP running including the graphic mode. I'm starting learning it by following;

PSPP manual
Table of Contents
http://www.gnu.org/software/pspp/manual/pspp.html.

It is NOT easy for a beginner. However there is NO manual on graphic mode.

Has any folk learned PSPP before please help. TIA

As I know PSPP is equivalent to SPSS. Does the documentation of the later apply to PSPP? Where can I find relevant documentation to follow? Thank

as a language PSPP is supposed to be compatible, and the SPSS user manuals for the recent versions are available online (google it). but if you have any choice in the matter, I say go with R instead.

Thanks.

I also have R running here. Because I'm prepared to apply a job which needs SPSS. I can't afford paying the software. Therefore I use PSPP instead.

Does anyone know of a way of opening spss .spo output files in pspp? I have to use it alot for my degree, and although pspp doesnt have the statistical analyses options that i need, i can do the test work on a university pc, and then do the analyses at on if pspp could view the .spo files?

thanks ryan
