Project: Wiki for Open Source Documentation

Hello people.
So, I am looking for some feedback and hopefully some help in a project I am at the moment.
I guess most of you know www.tldp.org witch is one of the biggest sources of how-tos and documentation for Linux and Open source.
If you do, then you are aware that the information is very out of date most of the time.
I just started a project that aims at solving this situation by providing a wiki approach to the system.
I am in a very early stage of the project so what I am doing is contacting the authors of the how-tos to tell them about the project and ask for their cooperation, but guess what, even their emails are out of date, so it has been a very dificult task.

Well I guess you can get the idea by know. So, if you have any opinions or would like to help in any form I would really appreciate it. You can check what I have done so far here: www.wosdp.org

Thanks a lot.

Well that's a huge thing to do..first collect all the material, make any sense out of it, then keep it updated and pay to have it available for as long as there is "open source". Otherwise it wouldn't be of much help.

Good luck with it.

Yes I know it is huge, but the idea.
And you just said it "keep it updated" that is where the trick is, that is way I am making a big fuzz out of it, I will need all the help I can get.

I didn't get the part: for as long as there is "open source"
What do you mean?
