problem saving putty settings

Hi,
When I want to change the settings from putty (font colors, size, etc), these changes are lost when I start putty again.
How can I change them for always and not just for that session?

thanks

I guess there's a problem when saving session settings. Are all settings lost like configured connections? Which OS you're running it on?

Only the configured connections remain. All other settings are lost. When I start putty again is like when I installed it and start it for the first time.

OS = XP SP2
