Power-saving power extension cables? (UK)

Hi guys

I remember reading about some power extension cables that, when you switched off the device connected to the first socket, switched off all the additional sockets to save power. I can't seem to find them on Google, however.

Does anyone know where I can get hold of these in the UK?

Thanks.

The only product that I know of is the smartstrip.

Not sure if it is sold in the UK.

And you don't want to use it if you have a crt monitor unless you want to replace the monitor more often
CRT's need power applied all the time to keep the tube warm, if you cut power to them all the time then you have to replace them sooner

Thankfully, we run a TFT-only office. I managed to find something from Maplin.co.uk, but at £30 each I can't see our company making much of an initial saving.
