Finally got Beryl working! My ATI card crapped out this morning, so I bought me a new Nvidia card, and it actually configured quite easily.

Some screenshots of my WinXP box, using a modified theme to look more like Vista. The anime playing (WMP 11) is the best anime of all times: Elfenlied ^_^;;. The background wallpaper is a modified MacOSX wallpaper.

The search field is Windows Search Deskbar. Very useful and fast. I prefer this one than google's any day of the week

To use that theme, I am used a hacked dll file only. No third party programs used to modify the default theme. I don't think it looks so bad... does it?

3D demo
Scale plugin demo
It's not the most beautifully customized desktop there is, but it's for those who do not know Beryl yet.
(If it's your case search for beryl on youtube. Videos speak more than still pictures.)
(or watch those on the site whose link I give below)

Here are some more artistic desktop screenshots for Beryl:
http://goberylgo.blogspot.com/
And also magnificient skydomes!
It's in spanish but it's not hard to navigate.
