Kubuntu Edgy, KDE 3.5.6, Beryl 0.2.0RC1, 1440x900 resolution. And it's running on a Geforce2MX, which is just about the crappiest graphics card you can run Beryl on. It works like a charm, of course. Don't get me wrong though, I don't usually use Beryl.

just set up another partition on your gentoo machine and install freebsd ... bsd can access your linux partition(probably only ext2/3 , i'm not sure) with ease ... it will be small enough and doesnt take up lots of space if you just trying out freebsd(dont go for live cd) and have a look at what bsd guys are doing ...

Second Life Linux client: http://4crito.com/screenshots/fc6_feb4.png

Have to set terain detail to low to see where I'm going, and seems a little slow considering my graphics card (GeForce 7600GS), but price was right (free.)

//btw , probably i will as a default enable everything in my opera from now on ... until then , i cant say that i have seen the whole wide world ... my first note , i have just found out that this world is actually rather vibrant and colorfull ... ^_^

Almost all the game sites are flash these days, try this one http://www.thesimpsons-hitandrun.com/

Try googling, i'm sure you will get a lot.

As for color tag, i didn't do any code, just selected color from the dropdown box.
